Hello! Welcome to the Coffeehouse Mom blog.

I am an Executive Home Manager.   Oh who am I kidding?  I’m a housewife.

I live with some really cool guys: my big man, who calls me Wife (and occasionally Hey, Baby) and two little men who call me Mommy. Any good in me is entirely because of Christ; He’s the best guy in my life. He calls me His child, and I call Him my Lord.

I am currently on indefinite leave from teaching other people’s children to raise my own (having taught children in public school with special needs, and having worked with infants and toddlers in home-based intervention, I can testify that raising my own children is a much, much harder gig).

My personality is eclectic. If you really knew me, you would see it’s true - though my Random List  isn’t a bad starter.

On occasion, I pack up and head straight to the local coffee shop to write, read, and process over a hot cup of caffeine. It is also the place where I meet up with my great girlfriends to talk, laugh, and pray.

I’m currently learning more about: gardening, scrapbooking, and home organization. None of which I’m exceptionally good at, but do nonetheless.

 

I’ve lived in the general midwest, and somewhat south, all my life. I haven’t traveled very far east or west, but I’ve been as far north as Canada and as far south as Brazil.

I’d go back to the latter in a heartbeat – family and all.
